IELTS Enquiry on Results

If you do not agree with your IELTS result, you may request that your test is re-marked. You can choose to have one or more parts of your test-remarked. The fee is the same regardless.

In order to initiate the Enquiry on Results (EoR), you must submit the IELTS Enquiry on Results Form located below. Once we receive this document, we will send you an online invoice that you can pay via debit or credit in the amount of $165.00.

An invoice will be sent within 2 business days and the remark will be sent for processing within 5 business days from receipt of the payment.

The deadline for initiating an EoR is 6 weeks after the date of your test.

The re-marking process can take between 2 to 21 days, depending on several factors including the number of sections requested for re-mark. If you have not received a response after 28 days, please contact us. If the result of the re-mark is higher than your original result, you will need to return your current Test Report Form and will receive a new Test Report Form in the mail and a full refund of your $165 administrative fee to the original method of payment.

If the result of the remark is not higher than your original results, you will receive an EOR letter stating your final result status. You should make all enquiries regarding the progress of your remark to your original test centre.

After graduating from university in Russia I applied to a large company in North America for a position that required English language proficiency. With my IELTS score I was able to prove my true-to-life ability to communicate in English for my first international employment opportunity. I have since worked in Bermuda and now live in Singapore, working for one of the most famous hotel brands in the world. With the invaluable experience that I have gained working overseas, IELTS has made a priceless contribution to progress my career and my life.

IELTS has been growing steadily for 20 years because it works. It’s good to know that IELTS has been the choice of millions of people over the years. IELTS stood out immediately because it tests all four skills – reading, writing, speaking and listening, giving a well-rounded assessment of my English.
